I’m Luiz Stockler, a Brazilian-Welsh Art Director, Animator, Designer, and Illustrator based in North Wales, UK.

Since graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2013, I’ve spent over a decade creating short films, commercial animations, editorial work, and picture books. I’ve collaborated with animation studios like Nexus, Blinkink, and Moth, while working directly with clients including Google, YouTube, TikTok and The Atlantic.

I also serve as the Art Director for Animest (Bucharest International Animation Film Festival). My films have screened at over 100 festivals worldwide - including Stuttgart, Pictoplasma, and Zagreb - winning a few awards along the way. I’ve shared my work and creative process through talks at places like See No Evil, Anibar, the RCA and the Academy of Fine Arts in Chișinău.

In June 2026, I released my debut children’s picture book, Tiny Man, published by Jumbo Press
